Wonder Milk contacted imangu with the wish of developing a new website with a cutting-edge design, in order to attract new customers as well as optimize the communication with already existing b2b customers. As their existing platform was developed for indexing on Chinese search engines, Wonder Milk was looking for a co-operation with an experienced web bureau, and especially SEO-expertise (Search Engine Optimization) was an essential criterium. Moreover, they wanted the webdesign to match their exclusive product, as well as a customer portfolio of high-end restaurants and international chains all over China. They also wished to have a newsfeed integrated in the design, and for the sign-up process of new customers to be automated.
Wonder Milk is a local milk producer situated in Beijing, that produces organic milk for primarily foreign, high-end stores all over China.
imangu suggested to base the development of the new website on Drupal 7 – a CMS (Content Management System) that both allows for easy editing of content, as well as the integration of various and differing functions without compromising quality and a fast loading time. Furthermore, it would allow our web designers to create a unique and exclusive design from scratch, fully responsive with all screen types as well as mobile units. imangu also offered to handle both SEO and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) to increase the number of visitors, and thus potential customers, on the website.
Since the launch of the new website Wonder Milk has experienced an increase of 53% new signups. This has been a direct consequence of our focus on indexing and optimization on the Chinese search engines, various SEM initiatives, as well as the quality of the website, the exclusive design, and the automated signup system. imangu has managed both maintenance and updates on the website, and we look forward to launching a completely new and updated platform in 2019, based on Drupal 8.
