Comforttan, Denmark's leading supplier to independent tanning centers, provides optimized tanning beds and tubes. Our ongoing project with Comforttan involved creating cutting-edge iOS and Android apps, along with a backend system, to enable remote operation of tanning beds and vending machines, giving customers unparalleled convenience and flexibility.
Challenges
Imangu faced several challenges during the project phase. As tanning salons are typically staffed, enabling remote operation required careful consideration of security, payment processing, and user experience. Integrating the backend system with the tanning beds and vending machines also posed technical complexities. Furthermore, innovating in a traditional industry meant navigating regulatory requirements and addressing concerns about safety and usability. Imangu developed user-friendly iOS and Android apps, along with a robust backend system, that empowered Comforttan's customers with unprecedented convenience. Customers can pay for and start tanning beds remotely, without salon employees present. They can also order products from vending machines through the same system. Additionally, customers can purchase and save suncard credit on their mobile phones, which can be used for renting sunbeds and purchasing products. The solution integrated seamlessly with Comforttan's existing infrastructure, providing a seamless and efficient experience for customers while streamlining operations for the company.
