Imangu's largest and most ambitious project to date - a social network for the Chinese Ministry of education in collaboration with Intel, the worlds largest producer of microprocessors.

Challenge
Intel had, in cooperation with the Chinese Ministry of Education, many social websites in China. These websites are used by Chinese universities as a communication platform between students and teachers. The many websites were developed in different technologies, and for various companies. It was therefore not possible to effectively develop all of them at the same time, as this would also be a costly process. Intel contacted imangu with the desire to combine all of their existing social websites in China with the goal of developing a new and more modern platform built in Drupal CMS.
Solution
Imangu suggested an approach where we documented all of Intel's existing social websites in China, as well as the most popular online social networks in China. On the basis of this analysis, imangu identified good features in Intel's existing websites, as well as new cool features that they wanted to add the project. Imangu further produced a complete set of wireframes and a technical design document of the new website. This would make the subsequent development much more efficient.
Outcome
The result was a thorough report consisting of a technical design document, detailed wireframes, and a new and modern design. The new platform is currently under development and will be ready within the next 6 months.
