IvoCall, now named Herobase, is one of the top providers of telemarketing systems for b2b clients in Scandinavia. Their innovative and highly user-friendly IvoCall software includes all thinkable real-time functions regarding sales, administration and meeting-booking, provides an ongoing overview of performances, and is developed to be scalable to serve all demands.

CHALLENGE

IvoCall contacted us in 2013, wishing to start a co-operation with imangu to further develop and handle ongoing maintenance of their innovative telemarketing software. IvoCall had already built a good and forward-thinking product, as well as a larger client-portfolio, and now sought for expertise and sharp IT-minds within software development.

Our Solution

The software is envisioned as a kind of virtual call centre, through which telemarketing divisions can administer all of their work. For example, leads – in the form of phone numbers and personal information, as well as notes and calendar - was to be integrated in a user-friendly workflow. Since IT-security, user-friendliness, and continuous innovation are key factors in providing the best software on market, we suggested to open a new branch in our Beijing office, and to hire a team of 4 of the sharpest minds within software development, to be guided by our experienced project managers. The goal was for the team to be self-driven, and as such manage both maintenance and innovation of the IvoCall software.

FINAL OUTCOME

The co-operation has run with great success over the course of 5 years, and we are proud that the software is amongst the market leaders in Scandinavia. The software is known for its excellent user-friendliness and world-class IT-security. The team, working from Beijing, is self-managed and merits numerous innovations within telemarketing software. For example, the software is the most easily scaleable product on the market. On account of the successful co-operation, imangu has later been hired by the same company, to develop a marketing automatization platform called Campaign.one.

For 5 years we have co-operated with imangu, and we now have a team of 4 full-time developers at the imangu office in Beijing. Being sceptical in the beginning, since we had not previously used the opportunity of IT outsourcing, all our worries have been put to shame.
