Challenge
As LM Windpower was launching a new corporate website for a global audience, they needed a local solution in China to mirror their global website to avoid problems with the Great Firewall of China.
Solution
We designed and planned a trimmed down version of the global website specifically for the Chinese market. As western social media are not relevant in China, we integrated the website with WeChat instead of Facebook and Twitter.
Outcome
We developed a local brand site that is indistinguishable from, and seamlessly integrated with the global brand site in layout and design. The site is hosted in China for optimal performance and integrated with Chinese social media.
